Hallucination Motion Capture for Inert

For the performance of one of the songs in my Inert project, I had a friend of mine dance live in front of a projection of them as a 3D model doing similar dance moves. To achieve this, I used Plask AI motion capture to extract a bone movement file from an iPhone video, and then used Blender to map this data onto a custom 3D model (as well as animating lighting/camera/morphing of the body).
Here is the raw footage I used for the motion capture beside the final result. It's so amazing that we have the technology to get such detailed data from a simple iPhone video like this!
